with him & am fully settled in the Opinion that
he intends to give himself no trouble in the
road Case. He says he can do nothing & recommends
to the Judges to Adobt Bradner

insistantly Urging such a return as the comune
does not imbrace the facts and they are
to adopt – that the papers have all been taken from
there and that they are incapable of making
a return to do Justice to the Case. Thus I can
see no other way but to Abandon the defense
I am highly grateful that you have come
to the conclusion to accept my invitation. I
am so on the broad ground that you are of all
persons the one I should no ^w^ select. There was A
time when a single Chd would have best filled
my eye. The offer was Often made but Oh! Henry
that I am Convinsed that I never can bestow
that Amount on you in as Usefull a way to
yourself and that you that you never will
see a period in your life when you will be
enabled to make the [ tower ]
