My dear Uncle,
When we were together in New York
Name: City: New York
County:
State: NY
Country: US
you proposed that I should see Mr E. W. Chester
respecting some matters in Cincinnati, but the idea
was finally abandoned. It now seems to me
to be best to ask Mr C. for a statement of what
he knows concerning certain claims which my Father

once had upon a piece of property which he,
himself formerly owned there.
If it seem so to you will you probably meet him
before leaving for here - or will you write him? or
will you direct me to do so!
There is much speculation about the new
Agent for Chatauque.
Love to all.
Very Respectfully
Your affectionate Nephew
Augustus S.
