Dear Sir
Yours of the 20th was received to day. From the tenor of your letter
we cannot expect you will be able to attend the Genesee Circuit.
It is necessary for us to put off the cause therefore and for the purpose
of showing that diligence necessary, I have sent to Judge Nelson

a Subpoena to be served on you and also our check for fees &c.
You will not ascribe this to any desire to persecute you I hope
with efforts to compell your attendance, but to enable me to make
such an affidavit as will serve to put off the cause or Secure
its reference, will you be good enough therefore to give an admis-
sion of the Service of the Subpoena and the payment of your fees.
I am happy to inform you Mrs Worden

and feels quite well to day.
Very Truly Yours
HO Chesebro
