Biography
Richard Kimball was born in New Hampshire, and graduated from Dartmouth College in 1834. He moved to Waterford NY to practice law in the mid 1830's. He founded the town of Kimball, Texas, and constructed the first railroad in Texas extending from Galveston beyond Houston.
