My dear Jennings,
It is reduced to a certainty that
I can negotiate the entire payment of the debt
to the Holland Company. What remains now is
to decide upon the cheapest and most expeditious
mode. Addressing myself to this question, I am
proceeding slowly and carefully. I am like
to be detained here until after the middle of
next week. Pray let me hear from you by letters
addressed to Auburn
