Dear Sir
I am just informed by some of your political
friends that I have been nominated a delegate to the
Senatorial Convention for the purpose of having you
nominated as a candidate for Senate[ . ]
Reason:
Do you stand this? let me hear from
You. You will be on the course in spite of the Devil
unless you have some good reason to say to the contrary
Let us hear from you
Yours Truly
Sibl MHS. Apparently, AHW was in the habit of signing his and his law partner’s name.
