has a gathering in his head,
he puts sweet-oil, and Laudanum in it three times
a day. I saw Snip at the door, & supposed he wanted
to be let in, I opened the door, he would not
go in, he said Emmemm, but when I opend
the door to go in Mas' room he followed
me, but I drove him him back and went in.
The snow is 2 inches deep now.
The sun is shining now, I have been out doors
this morning.
Your affectionate son

I have opened this letter to say that there has been a great commotion
among the horses and people here. Augustus pony is the principal sufferer.
one of the greys got loose in the stable and kicked him so that I
fear he is considerably injured. Pa
