I have your
letter of the 26th. The weather
seems to have propitiated at
last. It is singular that
only I had a presentiment
of Mr Wharton's

fact means nothing however.
I think from what I have
learned that your purchase

have been desirable for you, that
the investment should be smaller.
However, this may be, you have
performed a high duty to your
