Biography:
Mentioned in a letter from WHS to LMW (18470210). WHS stated that he wanted "Mr. Wright elected speaker" within the NY State Legislature, however he was defeated.
Admitted to the NY bar in 1827, Wright practiced law around Orange County. During this period Wright also worked as an editor for multiple Whig publications. Eventually Wright would go on to be a State "Assemblyman, a Justice of the State Supreme Court and a distinguished Judge on the Court of Appeals."
