Biography:
Widow, age 63, of the noted politcal figure John Whitefield Hulbert. Born c.1780, Mrs. Hulbert (nee Sally Hubbard) was buried here in North Street Cemetery with her husband, a former US Congressman from Massachusetts who had predeceased her almost a dozen years earlier. Their daughter (and her namesake) became the wife of another notable political figure, Thomas Y. How(e), a US Congressman from Auburn who represented the State of New York. The Hows are also buried locally, but in the newer Fort Hill Cemetery.
