Biography:
He was a prominent member of the Presbyterian Church, of Goshen, N. Y., and an extensive merchant. From Goshen he removed to Now York City and there lost his property about 1803, and died in 1826. By his special request, he was taken to Goshen and buried by the side of his old Pastor of 'the church. His widow died in N. Y., in 1831 and was buried by the side of her late husband in Goshen.
