My dear Uncle,
I received your kind letter on
Tuesday morning last and was very glad to
hear from home once more. I had a letter
from aunty

strawberrying on friday we had two
wagons trimed with birch and one drawn
by two horses [ tantum ]

We had a very pleasant time.
The roses are all out and the cherries are most
ripe. I have taken up Geography and have now
nine studies. I attend church twice a day
and bible class at noon.
There is nothing new going on at present
I receive the Standard daily.
