Biographical Information
Biography and Citation Information: 
Biography: 
Dr. Cary attended Union College and graduated in 1839. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and graduated in 1843. He then went abroad to continue studying medicine. He returned and established his practice in Buffalo. After retiring, his family continued to be active in Buffalo society, hosting many parties and events. He died while abroad in Marseilles, France. His father was a close friend of WHS, so Cary was likely well known by the rest of the family.
